As my first year at UCI came to a close I answered a newspaper ad for nude modeling which was the beginning of my career, so to speak. Prior to the industry I wasn't very experienced as I'd only been with a few guys (all boyfriends).
At first I was shy and nervous, but that quickly slipped away and the more comfortable I became the more I wanted to do.
My first scene was for Ed Power's in More Dirty Debs 152. From there my career really took off and before I knew it I did it all (to include playing the role of director)! In the process of all this playful debauchery I have been honored with a few awards: 2001 RRCC's Best Female Performer, RRCC's Best Rookie, XRCO's Cream Dream, XRCO's Best Three-Way Sex Scene, XRCO's Best Group Sex Scene, and for 2003 AVN's Female Performer of the Year, RRCC's Best Female Performer, and XRCO's Best Three-Way Sex Scene!
I am currently still in college working on my Bachelor's degree, it's slow going as I am only able to be a part time student. I would eventually like to settle down and go to law school.
Until then i can be found making movies or traveling around the country doing club appearances. Who knows maybe I'll be in your city next?!

Interview With Aurora Snow - February 1, 2003
On The Set of Ass-Stretchers in Los Angeles, CA
PornstarEmpire.com: I finally have the pleasure of sitting here with Aurora Snow...
Aurora Snow: Hi! I know after a long scene, right?
Q: Now you just won AVN's Performer of the Year....
Aurora Snow: I did. That was actually very, very exciting. It completely took me by surprise. My boyfriend sort of said 'You're gonna win, you're gonna win.' I totally didn't believe him. All of a sudden I hear my name, and I'm running up on stage and the only thing I can think of is 'Please don't trip!"
Q: And we're all proud of you because you didn't cry like the Best New Starlet...
Aurora Snow: You know, personally, I don't see the point in crying. Yeah, I did an anal scene. That's awesome I did an anal scene! There's no tears of joy because I did an anal scene, or because I did a gangbang. I'm just like yeah I did it and that's awesome. Somebody saw it and appreciated it. That's just unbelievable!
Q: How did you get into the adult business?
Aurora Snow: Actually I was going to UC Irvine and I saw an ad for nude modeling. And I thought, 'Hey I can take off my clothes and make easy money!' Since college students are always broke. So I called the ad and walked into World Modeling. I was with them for about the first three months of my career. From there it was all just word of mouth.
Q: Why did you get into the adult business?
Aurora Snow: Honestly, because I saw that it made a lot of money and it was easy. At first I thought hey I'm just going to be one of those girls that takes nude photos in a magazine. And some one talked me into doing a video. And I did my first video with Ed Powers and I walked away. I hadn't done anything like that before. Prior to that it had only been boyfriends...and four at that. And to me it was a whole other eye-opening experience. I thought hey, I can do that. I didn't feel too wrong, and I did it again, and I did it again. I became very comfortable with it, and wanted to have fun with it. There's so many aspects of sex that in my private life I would never explored. Here in the industry I've explored gangbangs, girl-girl stuff, multiple people. I mean those are things that I would have never ever thought to try in my personal life. I would've been with the same boyfriend for forever. I would have never explored girl-girl, which is really fun.
Q: You've primarily done gonzo...
Aurora Snow: Primarily, yes. This year I've started to do a few feature things.
Q: Recently the industry has been in a bit of a snit because of the whole Prime Time Live / Belladonna Controversy....
Aurora Snow: Oh, yes. I didn't see that, I just heard about that.
Q: Do you honestly feel that you are being protected and not being taken advantage of?
Aurora Snow: Honestly. I feel that every girl has a choice. People will say 'Hey, we will give you this much money to do this. It's the girl's prerogative to say I'll do this, for this much money. If she feels taken advantage of because she said yes to taking that amount of money that's her fault. People can con you, or persuade you, but ultimately the girl's decision. It's she who says yes or no. Also, in this industry the girl can say 'Hey, I want to work with these guys. Or only these guys are going up my ass.' It's not just she says, 'Okay, I'll work' and they say Okay, you'll definitely do this guy. It's a choice. I very much agree with all of that. I didn't get sucked into it. I had a choice. And every time I worked I still have a choice.
Q: I read that you were a theater major...
Aurora Snow: I was. I did theater since I was about twelve. I went to UC Irvine about and I was a drama major. To me I thought my whole world existed around the theater and I was going to go into mainstream, and then I found myself answering a newspaper ad. All of a sudden I got into the adult business and I'm sure from there all my mainstream ideas were about shot.
Q: Would you ever like to try mainstream if you got the shot?
Aurora Snow: I'd love to. Some people have features and they complain about the dialogue. I'm one of those people that says 'Wow, I have a dialogue scene!" How great is that? I love having dialogue. I think its great.
Q: Would you like to do more adult features?
Aurora Snow: I love doing adult features. I'm doing more and more this year. I like to start doing more and more. I like dialogue days, they take me back to the days when I was on stage. Even now... I signed a contract with Playboy. I do Spice Clips. A live show, I go on for about an hour and a half I'd say. It's almost like a music video meets porn. We show porn clips. In between the porn clips I take live calls. People call in and can have phone sex with me. So that has the appeal of a live stage show.
Q: How much acting goes into the sex?
Aurora Snow: In the sex? Honestly, not that much acting goes into the sex. Not for me. I've explored so much. I never would have if I hadn't got into the adult industry. Its amazing what one person might not know about themselves until some one says, 'Hey would you be willing to do this?" Being open-minded you say, yeah, and then you say wow, I never even thought I'd like that.
Q: Does your family know about what your doing?
Aurora Snow: I've got three young brothers and they all know what I'm doing. There all pretty much okay with it. I think in today's generation everybody is more accepting. My Mom knows what I do. She's been a lot more accepting than what I expected. I still go to school. I go to school in the morning. I average school from about 6:30am to 10am from there I'm usually driving to set. I've got a busy schedule.
Q: What are you doing in school?
Aurora Snow: I'm actually looking into business law.
Q: So you want to be a lawyer?
Aurora Snow: I never actually wanted to be a lawyer, but business is a very, very good base for me to have. So if I wanted to go into law I'd have that option. But also business law in itself is a very, very good thing to look into. I think our world is moving into a more international concept...especially in terms of business. So if I have a business law degree and I look into business I'd probably go into international law because I think that's the way our economy is moving.
Q: What's your personal life like? Do you have a boyfriend?
Aurora Snow: Yeah, I date Jay Ashley. We met on set and we started dating there after and it's really nice. We're not just girlfriend and boyfriend. We've become very, very good friends as well. Not a lot of people get that. Most my time is split between going to work and going to school. And every so often Jay and I get to go out and then I spend my time answering fan mail. Sounds boring. I'm not that person that goes out, getting and clubbing.
Q: Do you have a website?
Aurora Snow: I own AuroraSnow.com as well as .net. I'm working on trying to get AuroraSnow.com up. I've just had issues with webmasters and trusting them. With any luck, I might have something within a month. But if you don't see it up in a month don't get mad. It's not my fault! I do have an email address, which is aurorasnow1@aol.com.
