Pornstarempire.com: Where are you from?
Jacklyn: Originally, Oregon.
Q: And how did you end up in adult?
Jacklyn: I had met a girl when I was touring on the road and she was a porn star, Sunset Thomas, and she got me into it.
Q: Ok, do you want to tell me what got you into dancing in the first place?
Jacklyn: Oh god, [I was] living on my own and wanted to make it through high school and basically I danced all through high school and college.
Q: Had you run away?
Jacklyn: Yeah I had left home.
Q: And how old were you when you left?
Jacklyn: 16.
Q: Oh, no kidding.
Jacklyn: I still graduated on time in everything so I stayed in school.
Q: But how did you find out about dancing, had you always known that?
Jacklyn: Well I was a dance teacher. I started teaching dancing at a really young age and one of my students was a stripper and we didn't know it, but we went out to dinner one night and I was telling her all the problems I was having and living on noodles and mustard and there was nothing in the entire house. I was paying my own bills and going to school. I was telling her what I was going through and she was like well you should dance and she hooked me up with this agent so I grabbed a fake I.D. so I could dance.
Q: Wow! So how did that strike you at such a young age?
Jacklyn: At the time I was just going to do it for the weekend but at some point I had to go this is a career.
Q: Wow, I wound up dancing for 14 years and I remember starting and looking at myself in the mirror going its only temporary, only until you make $1200.00 because I had a doctor to pay and then I guess I kind of liked it.
Jacklyn: Well, I like the money and I liked the attention and actually raised my self-esteem and up until that point I was almost ashamed of my body...and so I have learned a lot from dancing and that is was ok and that my body is not disgusting.
Q: So you had said you started dancing when you were 16?
Jacklyn: No 17.
Q: I was a late bloomer, so if I had started at that point that would have been just when I had finished kind of growing tits or anything.
Jacklyn: I don't even think I had tits so I was a real small girl like a double 0 in pants and just a tiny little thing. I weighed barely 90 pounds.
Q: Yeah. So you met Sunset Thomas and this was up in Oregon?
Jacklyn: Yeah and that was later when I was 24.
Q: And what happened? She was featuring and you were curious about that?
Jacklyn: Yeah, well I was featuring at that time but doing magazines and stuff and her and her husband were telling me about porn and I had a boyfriend at the time and of course he was like no way. It was interesting because I was going through a weird time in my life and so I split up with my boyfriend and like a year later I called up Sunset and Zach and said ok I want to give this a try.
Q: Is he a porn somebody?
Jacklyn: Yeah.
Q: What is his last name?
Jacklyn: Zach Thomas.
Q: Ok, now that you're here what's your favorite part of having sex on screen?
Jacklyn: The professionalism of the guys is so good and they are really unspoiled and just a really great fuck.
Q: Wow!
Jacklyn: I mean they are just really great to work with so I am so spoiled now. I can't imagine not having to explore my sex life this way I mean I can't imagine where I would be.
Q: So tell me more because I have always wondered if girls consider themselves skilled or not?
Jacklyn: Oh god yes, incredibly very skilled.
Q: So is it hard to go and have sex with laypeople?
Jacklyn: Yeah it is.
Q: What do you do, do you have to date people in the industry?
Jacklyn: I do sometimes, I try not to but I really don't date but have sex with people off camera but the guys that I date are normal guys. A lot of the time they don't cut the mustard.
Q: But you prefer not to date within the industry?
Jacklyn: Not really. I don't really have a preference. I have been single for so long now. My last boyfriend was before the industry and that was back in 1996. So I have not had a boyfriend since then.
Q: So you would consider having a porn star boyfriend?
Jacklyn: I just haven't found one yet. The one that I like...I mean a lot of them are really great in bed, but a lot of them have a lot of havoc like drinking or something like that and I wouldn't want to bring them home.
Q: Do you prefer to have sex with men or women on-screen?
Jacklyn: I prefer men, but I like both.
Q: Now since you had been estranged from your family when you were an adolescent, do they know about what you do?
Jacklyn: Actually they know that I am a dancer. I am really good friends with my mom and my dad (they are still married) but they don't know that I am a porn star.
Q: But that relationship is ok now?
Jacklyn: Yeah we are, but if I were to tell them our relationship would not be as good.
Q: So they just think you are a dancer?
Jacklyn: Yeah and I do other stuff too like kick box, I work on the Internet and I do my radio show.
Q: What is your radio show?
Jacklyn: It's on www.ksexradio.com
Q: And what is it?
Jacklyn: It's a nightly radio show from Monday through Friday and it's "Tales of Tail".
Q: And that is in L.A.?
Jacklyn: Yeah.
Q: Neat.
Jacklyn: It's international so you can log on anywhere and listen.
Q: So how did that come about?
Jacklyn: Actually it came about doing an interview with the radio station and they put me on air and asked me if I wanted to do my own show and I said yeah I would love it, and I jumped on it.
Q: What do you do--just have porn star guests?
Jacklyn: Yeah, and then I talk about my life or whatever is going on about stuff and I talk to fans that call in and I read an erotic story at the end of each night like 5-10 minute story so the guys all get it out and whack it to my story.
Q: Nice. How do you feel about watching yourself on film?
Jacklyn: You are real critical like, oh god, there is a wrinkle, got to get the surgeon! But other than that it's pretty cool and the scenes will feel a lot better than they look, so I'll be really into the scene and the editors will watch it and completely tear it apart and I think that was better than it looked. And there are other scenes where they looked better than they felt. It's kind of weird.
Q: Now I know this might be hard for you to contemplate because the way you fell into adult, as far as you were really young, but what do you think would of done otherwise? Some people I talk to they are like I wanted to be a pin up girl since I was four, I mean some people that was their goal.
Jacklyn: Actually I kind of didn't realize it but yeah I did want to be...my goal was to be in Playgirl [Editor's Note: We're guessing Jacklyn actually meant Playboy!] and I didn't really realize that is what I wanted to admit to myself. Aside from that my biggest interest, I went to college for it, I still study it and occasionally still go to college for it. I'll pick up a class here and there you know community college. But my interest is health and I study nutrition and I like to workout. I also study kickboxing, movement, gymnastics and dancing. I would have been a dance teacher and I still am doing what I would of done, I think.
Q: So do you ever find that you get sick of sex or less responsive?
Jacklyn: No, not at all.
Q: Is there something sexual that you haven't done on-screen that you would like to do?
Jacklyn: Not really. I think I pretty much did it all. I can't think of anything I haven't done, I just like to do more and I like to do more acting and things like that.
Q: My favorite line from you was "Jane, you look like shit". Do you remember that?
Jacklyn: No what is that?
Q: From Crazed. I love that, I love that whole movie.
Jacklyn: Oh Crazed--when I tell Serenity she looks like shit. That's your favorite line?
Q: From you, yeah.
Jacklyn: That's funny.
Q: Yeah, I think I quoted you because I did this analysis, I compared Crazed with a James Avalon film, I think it was like Nothing To Hide 4 or something and I really like James Avalon, but I said that Crazed was a little bit better than the James Avalon one because they were both about crazy chicks and I said the Jonathan Morgan one was a little bit better in the dialogue department because that was pretty funny and so I think I quoted you on that, and I also think I quoted Serenity when she was like bitching at her husband saying "Steve, he's not going come in the fucking front door". Do you remember that?
Jacklyn: That was a fun movie. Jonathan is really good to work with and he really pushed in the acting department and made it really fun.
Q: Her costume was just insane. I really like that movie a lot.
Jacklyn: That's cool, that was a fun one and I liked working with Serenity. Serenity is awesome.
Q: Yeah, she is great and I appreciate Wicked stuff a lot.
Jacklyn: Well I love Wicked, and in fact I went in this year and tried to get a contract with them. But I didn't get it. But I don't even want to persue any other contract because I want to be with Wicked. I really love them, I love them a lot.
Q: Yeah, me too. What do you think would surprise your fans or general public about you most?
Jacklyn: Just that I am pretty normal and I don't drink and I don't party. I don't like to go to bars. I like to read books and I am a pretty normal girl.
Q: You just said the answer that everyone says.
Jacklyn: Really that they are normal? But it's true...I don't know how to explain it. I am just a normal girl. I guess that is the misconception that us porn stars party and stuff all the time and we don't and I think that is the biggest thing that would surprise someone. My fans that know me know that.
Q: So do you still feature?
Jacklyn: Yeah, I do.
Q: And how often do you do that?
Jacklyn: I do it in the summer time and I do it a few times during the year. I like to be at home so I can take my classes during the year. I am studying Japanese right now.
Q: Neat! Where do you like to go the most I mean you don't have to plug a club if you don't want to, but where do you like to travel when you dance?
Jacklyn: Everywhere, but my funniest place that I went to this year is a tiny little country called Estonia, which used to be part of Russia and I went out there and danced and I just have to say that it was the most wonderful experience because they so appreciate you. I went out there for a thing called "Sexibition".
Q: Would you tell me who are your favorite people to work with?
Jacklyn: Yeah, absolutely. I would say Serenity, Peter North and T.T. Boy.
Q: Ok, and what has been your favorite movie to shoot?
Jacklyn: I would have to say Crazed or Enchanted or Heart and Soul, and they are all Wicked movies. I am not on the box cover of any of those, but they were just fun.
Q: How do you feel about the community and the sex industry in general--how do you feel about the people?
Jacklyn: They are family, you know. It's like family. Very dysfunctional family, but it's family.
Q: Why do you think it's good?
Jacklyn: Well you know what I really like about it--when your out and hanging out with a guy and then he fucks you and gets what he wants because guys are conquerors, lets face it. They conquer and so then you go out and fuck a guy and then all the sudden its this weird phase like, "Oh, she likes me" and "I just wanted to fuck her" kind of thing and I hate that-- it's just bullshit. And what is cool about the industry is that it's not like that. It's not like it's a one night stand I am just getting to learn the man and getting to know what he likes and he learns what I like and I don't get off the first time. But with the industry, I always do because if they haven't worked with me before they already know what I am into because they already talked to everybody else and found out. They have done their research and I have done mine. There is more of an open communication with each other and there is never a one night stand because you talk to them and you get to have sex with them in the next film. I really don't know how to explain that, but I know the other girls would understand what I am talking about.
Q: Actually Evan Stone kind of described it like that.
Jacklyn: Did he really?
Q: It was kind of like the freedom of the one night stand but with mutual respect.
Jacklyn: Yes...yes, that is a good way to put it. It seems like the guys out there that have these one night stands don't have that mutual respect and they are all about dissin' you. It's just weird. I just want to have a good time and fuck.
Q: Do you have a website?
Jacklyn: www.jacklynlick.com
Q: Why don't you say a few words about the novelties that you represent with Serenity's company?
Jacklyn: One thing that is important is that guys support this particular novelty company whether it is my toys [or another girl's]. But just Las Vegas novelties in general is one of the few companies that gives residuals to the girls. It's the only toy company and only adult company period, out of the movie companies, out of every company...so if you really want to support your actors and actresses, buy Las Vegas novelties. Plus the other thing about it is all the other toy company are created by men for women, these are toys created by women for women and they are endorsed by us so even before they leave the shelves we try them out and if we don't like the product we go back to the drawing board and tell her we don't like it.
Q: Oh that's great. So do you guys do any traveling together to promote that?
Jacklyn: We do. We just went to Mexico.
Q: Why don't you tell me everyone else that is doing this?
Jacklyn: Oh ok. Well the girls are not all Las Vegas novelties girls, but I can give you the Las Vegas novelties players. It's Serenity, myself, Jewel De'Nyle, Julie Meadows with VCA and Chloe with VCA...and also Lee Stone, who is a guy.
Q: So you went to Mexico?
Jacklyn: Yeah, we went to Mexico with Serenity and it was fun and we had a great time. It was cool because it was a bunch of normal girls and none of us drank or anything. Kylie Ireland went and I am hoping she gets under a contract with Las Vegas soon [Editor's Note: Kylie signed a 5-year deal with Las Vegas Novelites on May 25th, 2001]. I love Kylie she is great.
Q: Ok, so why don't you just tell me the last thing you shot was?
Jacklyn: The last thing I shot was a bondage movie Tortured Beauties and I think before that the last release was Amber's Bedtime Stories which has me and Ron Jeremy.
Q: The only thing I have to ask you is that anything you have in for your future plans, long-term or short-term?
Jacklyn: Long term is mostly with my website...and this year I want to do a few projects with Wicked and then the rest of my content I want to be mostly exclusive to my website.
Q: Do you have any interest in producing or directing in the future?
Jacklyn: I haven't really thought of that but possibly directing. On my website...I direct my own stuff and it's hilarious, because I am directing it as I am in the scene. I am directing the cameraman...I am directing everybody--so yeah, maybe eventually.
