Our review: With his performance in Red Star, Will Clark has ascended to the pantheon of the crme de la crme of porn performers. This feral, ginger-haired piglet is a kinetic ball of fur-covered smuttiness, with a Prince Albert to boot! Fans of recessive physical traits will appreciate the inclusion of not one, but two redheads in one film. In the film's opening sequence, Clark and studly bald Scalia are slowly and sensuously exploring each other's bodies. Scalia devours Clark's pierced meat, then heads south to munch hungrily on his fuzzy pink pooper. Before you know it, he's fiddling around with Clark's hole, which Clark seems to enjoy immensely.
But, it's like an old teacher of mine used to say: "What good is a hole, unless it has a huge black dildo wedged in it?"
Scalia remedies the situation by plunging said dildo into Clark's back door. All the excitement eventually brings these two horny chaps to orgasm. The scene is pretty short, but it certainly packs a wallop. Clark is back in the next scene, this time flying solo. As he admires himself in the mirror, he furiously yanks his crank, spits at the mirror, and displays his winking rosette to the camera. After donning a jaunty leather cap, he opts for a more fashionable gas mask, which does the trick, causing him to erupt like a compact love volcano.
In the next scene, where leather clad Soldier, looking like a refugee from the Castro, circa 1975, makes Clark do his twisted bidding. Actually, it isn't that twisted at all - it's basically a long blowjob. However, Clark does have his hands bound and Soldier is pretty nasty about the whole thing. The scene is supercharged with a palpable sexual energy that makes it a jolly good watch. It also features a stupendous orgasm compliments of Soldier, whose dingle produces what appears to be several liters of man-goo.
Things turn a tad more S&M-ish in the next scene, a group scenario, where Soldier Clark to suck and rim Scalia, who in turn is gobbling Samuels' (redhead #2) pendulous pale putz. Meanwhile, bald-pated sex-monkey Gear is pounding the bejesus out of Michaels. Cut back to Soldier, who is now Clark to get biz on Raeg's crapper. More sucking, fucking and rimming ensues, followed by the boys dropping their viscous cargo one by one on Clark, who has been fitted with (once again) a gas mask.
Up until this point, the film is pretty tame, but the final scene will have you squirming in your skivvies and crying for your mama, unless you happen to be a dyed-in-the-wool S&M freak. In this stomach-churning vignette, Michaels ends up becoming a plaything for Gear and Raeg, who employ whips, gags, clamps, clothespins and hot candle wax to satisfy their twisted desires. Please wait 30 minutes after eating before watching this scene. There are a series of interviews, where Clark probes the other performers in a non-sexual fashion. To wrap it up: Though the final scene may be a bit too much for the average layperson, the film is rife with rabid carnality and primo camerawork. On the whole, Red Star really shines. --T.J.
